Benjamin Michel
Managing Director
Ben has been in the horticulture industry for over 20 years, he completed his horticulture apprenticeship at "The Garden Complex" in Numurkah Road, Shepparton. When The Garden Complex closed down in late 2002 Ben saw an opportunity to open his own landscaping business. In September 2002 Ben commenced trading as Michel’s Landscaping & Garden Design and built a reputation for outstanding quality. In May 2014 with the purchase of "Gardens On Archer" Ben has returned to his roots in a Nursery and Landscaping. He aims to ensure clients and customers continue to receive a great experience in all the businesses he is involved in.
Michelle Michel
General Manager
Michelle has been involved with Michel’s Landscaping & Garden Design since its inception, managing the administration and finance side of the business. With the growth of the business including the purchase of Gardens On Archer in May 2014, the addition of extra staff and the birth of Ben & Michelle’s two children in 2009 & 2011, Michelle has relinquished the day to day office duties to manage the office & nursery, train & develop staff and grow the businesses.
Stuart Rigby
Maintenance Supervisor
Stuart joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design in August 2016, moving to Shepparton with his young family. With an extensive background in landscaping, pool installation and irrigation he brings excellent skills to the Michel's landscaping & Garden Design's team. His role involves maintaining the local builders display home gardens, complementing the work completed by the landscaping team, and assisting our clients with any follow up maintenance they may need.
Luke Britton
Senior Landscape Supervisor
Luke joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design as an apprentice in 2007, he has progressed through the company over the years to now holds the position of Senior Landscape Supervisor. His years of experience and pride in the work he does make him a huge asset to the team, his leadership and mentoring continues to develop and he provides all staff with guidance and training to ensure the company delivers a quality product at all times to all our clients.
Jayden Damianopoulus
Landscape Supervisor
Jayden joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design in March 2016, he completed a landscape construction apprenticeship with Michel’s. Upon successfully completing his apprenticeship in 2019 Jayden progressed into a supervisory role. Jayden is a great team player with a sound work ethic who delivers quality landscapes to all Michel’s Landscaping clients.
Mitchell Macheda
Trainee Landscape Supervisor
Mitch joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design in October 2016, having previously completed work experience with Michel's Landscaping & Garden Design through school. He has successfully completed an apprenticeship and has now taken on a trainee supervisor role. He has an easy-going manner, is polite and respectful to all clients & is a great team member.
Cody Tancred
3rd Year Apprentice
Cody joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design in April 2018, he is currently undertaking an apprenticeship. He works well with everyone; he has a willingness to learn and easy-going nature which make him a great team member and will ensure he is an exceptional tradesman.
Bryce Watts
Labourer
Bryce joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design in July 2020 as a labourer. Bryce brings a background in Civil Construction. Hard working and eager to learn he is a valued member of the team.
Sharon Sole
Accounts Administration
Sharon joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design in March 2010. Her responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, payroll & financial reporting, as well as assisting with the day to day running of the office.
Jennifer Crawford
Reception/Administration assistant
Jennifer joined the team at Michel's Landscaping & Gardens Design in April 2017, and has successfully completed her administration traineeship. As the director of first impressions Jennifer brings her friendly manner and willingness to learn to her role. Her role includes liaising with management to ensure all materials are procured for our clients projects, handling all customer enquiries and the general day to day running of the office.
